It appears like Microsoft is currently planning to release the “first major update” for Windows 10. To be released in November, the update is internally referred as the Windows 10 “Threshold 2,” but will be made available as the “Windows 10 Fall Update.”
As reported by Microsoft expert Paul Thurrott, the upcoming Windows 10 Fall update will be available through Windows Update section and it will directly upgrade all the Windows 10 running PCs to the latest version. So, you don’t have to download any additional software patches or worry about reactivation. The process will be simple and easy to navigate.
While we currently don’t have any change-log yet, but it is being reported that the Windows 10 Fall Update will feature all the new features which were introduced in Windows 10 Beta for the Windows Insiders. So, you can expect to see improvements and tweaks in Microsoft Edge browser and Cortana.
There are currently no exact details about the release date.
